About Balsamia

The plot in Imenska Gorca has been in the family for generations — an orchard, a meadow and a view of the Kozjansko hills we could never take our eyes off.
When the house still existed only on paper, we asked the architect for restraint: to keep it low, keep it warm and let the park have the final word. Wood and lime plaster followed, oak floors and apartments, each with a view of its own piece of the outdoors. Guests come for the thermal pleasures, the unique experiences nearby, the monastery in Olimje and the wine roads — but they stay for what they had not planned: hours on the terrace, when the valley falls silent.
